Monday 29th July

The Big TOE heads into the West Country. I’m going through Wilshire and skirting the Dorset/Hants border. This is nearly in reach of my current home and heading towards the village that I grew up in.

Salisbury is a city of many medieval highlights. The cathedral is home to the Magna Carta. It is the halfway mark of today’s 27 miles, so lunch.

Fordingbridge is a gateway town to the New Forest. Tonight there should be time for a decent walk in the Forest.
