The day starts off with a Park Run at Barnsley.
Then there’s plenty to see in Sheffield City Centre, including the cathedral, botanic and winter gardens and Crucible Theatre, home to world snooker. Time permitting we’ll breeze through the National Videogames Museum and make a nod to the great British eccentric, Sir Clive Sinclair. Exiting Sheffield we run through Rother Valley Country Park where swimming, watersports or a theme park ride are possible interludes.
Post Run, we’ll visit Creswell Crags, the most important prehistory archeological site in Britain and if weather permits picnic in Clumber Park, the 4th most visited National Trust site in Britain and a part of the famous Dukeries area near Worksop. Sherwood Forest is also on the visit list.
