An early start with post run visits to do, the run itself straddles the unloveable A1(M) whilst taking in the Riding town of Catterick andf the Dales gateway at Bedale.
At the cathedral I will learn about miserichords and, using one, make a bold link between the cathedral, a young Lewis Carroll and Alice’s adventures.
A post-run trip to Fountains Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site will be followed by a drive to The Bay Horse in Green Hammerton, and a visit to Harrogate in search of its famous Yorkshire tweed, and Betty’s and Taylors for tea.
