Saturday 17th August
The day starts with a park run in Hereford.
It is a hilly route today, heading off road to take on the Malvern Hills National Landscape.
Then comes Great Malvern with its Priory en route and its connection with Elgar (and, to a lesser extent his friend, the controversial Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw)
At Worcester the cathedral steals the show but there are also plenty of timber frame houses to admire including Greyfriars’ (National Trust).
