A great route comes through the Cannock Chase National Landscape before Stafford where a visit should be possible to The Ancient High House.

Post Run

The finish town, Market Drayton seems to have several proud gardens, so we’ll try for a garden-off between Wollerton Old Hall, Dorothy Clive and Hodnet Hall Gardens.

Fordhall Organic Farm looks an interesting community project and events space.

In the evening I will stay in Shifnal and visit Ironbridge/Coalport including The Unicorn, a pub that is run by Denzil Martin, How Hard Can it Be Events.
