Saturday 24th August

Preview
Its an early start to get 8 miles in along the Mersey to Victoria Park, Warrington in time for Parkrun. Warrington is the bit of a hub town in ultra running with many GB Ultras runners living in the area, so hopefully they are going to join me for a few miles. GB Ultras organise the very popular Liverpool to Manchester ultra marathon.
After Warrington the next target is the Trafford Centre, one of the foremost shopping and leisure destinations in the UK (mile 21). From there Manchester Cathedral is the target.
The route follows waterways and jogs past Old Trafford, home of Manchester United at mile 24.
Albert Schloss leisure venue, Albert Hall is just off the route towards the very end of the run.
