The route takes in Retford and finishes in Lincoln. Market town Retford offers Babworth Hall, Bassetlaw Museum that tell the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims.
On the way out of Retford, at mile 16 a short diversion for lunch takes us to The Bee’s Knees at Springhead Brewery.
The evening is all about Lincoln, where there are many histories commemorated at locations including the Cathedral and International Bomber Command.

Landmarks

8am Worksop

10am – 10.30pm Retford (8 miles)

Vicki to visit the Bassetlaw Museum then pick me up at mile 15 at 12.15, Rampton for slight detour for lunch at Springhead Brewery, Laneham

12.30 – 1.30 Springhead Brewery (1.5 miles off the route at 15 miles)

1.45pm – Rampton

5.30pm Lincoln City Centre (31 miles)

Followed by a walking tour.

Fuel – Lunch a the Bee’s Knees for a pint of Roaring Meg or Exodus. Later, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire sausages, Hazlet, a cheese meal at The Cheese Society incl Yellow Belly Cheese
